Notes from the road
M.26 began outside the studio: with long walks, hard light, and clothing used as it should be.
M.26 began outside the studio. We wanted to see clothes moving through a real day rather than held still against a seamless wall.
The collection was carried, folded, sat on, and worn through heat and shade. Those ordinary actions became part of the design process. Pockets shifted. Sleeves widened. Fabrics were washed until the surface felt familiar.
Clothes in use
We are interested in the point where a garment stops feeling new and starts belonging to its wearer. Every decision in this collection leaves room for that change.
The landscape gave us the palette: mineral grey, dry earth, deep shadow, and an electric blue that interrupts everything around it.
BERQ collections are developed in Yerevan through close collaboration with local makers. Each piece leaves room for movement, layering, and the character that arrives through use.
