From first pattern to final fitting: the development of the Shelter Parka.
A useful outer layer has to resolve several needs at once: protection, movement, weight, and enough room for everything worn beneath it.
Fitting through movement
The Shelter Parka was adjusted through repeated fittings, with attention paid to how the garment changes while walking, sitting, and carrying.
BERQ collections are developed in Yerevan through close collaboration with local makers. Each piece leaves room for movement, layering, and the character that arrives through use.
