Why one saturated colour keeps returning to the BERQ wardrobe.
Blue has been present since the first BERQ pieces. It behaves differently in every material: direct in nylon, deep in brushed cotton, and almost black in shadow.
We do not treat colour as decoration. It can describe a whole garment before its details become visible, and it can connect pieces made seasons apart.
One continuous thread
Our blues are allowed to disagree. The wardrobe becomes richer when washed indigo sits beside sharp cobalt and faded navy. The slight friction is the point.
BERQ collections are developed in Yerevan through close collaboration with local makers. Each piece leaves room for movement, layering, and the character that arrives through use.
